The agency is committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions 80% by 2050 from 2006 levels, across all facilities including our airports, which have been recognized with Airport Carbon Accreditation for their efforts.

About the Port Authority

Founded in 1921, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey builds, operates, and maintains many of the most important transportation and trade infrastructure assets in the country. As one of the largest airport systems in the world, John F. Kennedy International, LaGuardia, Newark Liberty International, Stewart International and Teterboro Airports welcomed 132.7 million passengers in 2017.
