Yellowstone-Teton Clean Cities
Yellowstone-Teton Clean Cities (YTCC’s) is a non-profit organization serving the Greater Yellowstone region, which includes the state of Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. Yellowstone-Teton Clean Cities' mission is to reduce consumption of traditional petroleum-based fuels, support our regional economy and protect our environment by encouraging and expanding the use of alternative fuels and advanced vehicle technologies, and promoting efficient transportation options.
To advance our mission in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and achieve our mission, we provide education; technical expertise; networking opportunities; and funding assistance to help the public and stakeholders invest in local, sustainable transportation solutions.
Yellowstone-Teton Clean Cities programs generally fall within 3 core areas, (1) advancing the deployment of alternative fuel vehicles (2) increasing the amount of alternative fueling infrastructure/stations (3) offering consumer education and guidance pertaining to alternative fuels and sustainable transportation options.
Over the previous 10 years, thanks to our stakeholders, Yellowstone-Teton Clean Cities was able to displace 33.7 million gallons of petroleum and 366 tons of greenhouse gas emissions in the Greater Yellowstone region!
