More than 10 million passengers fly in and out of San Antonio International Airport (SAT) each year. SAT’s mission is to deliver the San Antonio experience through innovation, transformation, and talent. The San Antonio experience is rooted in nature from the historic San Antonio River Walk to serving as a gateway to the rolling Texas Hill Country. SAT is excited to partner with The Good Traveler to allow travelers to voluntarily reduce their carbon footprint by purchasing carbon credits.
SAT achieved Level 2-Reduction through the Airport Carbon Accreditation program and is working towards Level 3-optimization and neutrality. The Good Traveler program is an innovative partnership for SAT to achieve its carbon emission reduction goals and supports the San Antonio River Foundation. Together, we are creating a more sustainable environment for those who are traveling to San Antonio, and those who call it home.
